Matarishvan is an experienced yoga teacher who shares restorative techniques to bring the body and mind into harmonious balance with the world. Her teachings are rooted in the Vedic and Tantric schools of thought, and she has acquired wisdom from various traditions including Tantric Buddhism, Sufism, Animism – Paganism – Shamanism, Environmentalism – Conservationism – Ecologicalism along with Consumerism – Materialism. Matarishvan’s classes are focused on grounding, enhanced awareness, physical bodywork, breathwork, and deep meditation.
She only teaches the practices that she has explored in-depth and has found effective in safe progression with minimal disturbance to the mind. You can book a group class or private One-เซ-One yoga therapy, or attend her weekly 90-minute sessions that include Asana, Pranayama, Mudra, Bandha, Meditation, Yoga Nidra, Sanskrit chanting, Kirtan, Havan, or Puja. Matarishvan’s teachings of Raja Yoga are enhanced by her deep reverence to the original tradition of classical yoga. She emphasizes the importance of a solid foundation in the major pillars of yoga, which are Bhakti, Jnana, Hatha, and Karma. Through these pillars, the yoga aspirant can undertake the journey of self-realization, arriving at a state of complete awareness and acceptance.
