Soy free, very handy for traveling, more expensive than the large container
I bought a few boxes for use while traveling. I have used the Orgain vanilla powder in the large container for a few years. It gives good nutritional value for the money and has no soy in it. The large container is much more economical than the packets. However, for traveling, the packets were easier to use and pack. For added protein, I use a scoop in nondairy yogurt and in a shaker cup with almond or coconut milk and pour that over healthy cereal.

High protein & plant based
I’m glad this product has no soy or lactose, which is easier on my tummy as I try to get more protein in my diet. Kind of chalky – I blended with almond milk and iced coffee for taste, but stevia taste really comes through on the vanilla. It’ll be okay.

Gives you energy!
This is a great protein powder that tastes great in vanilla. I add ice, frozen blueberries, oat milk and fresh spinach to the blender for a tasty and healthy smoothie. Like the pre measured packets too.

Solid unflavored protein
I add protein powder to my smoothies every morning but was getting tired of the vanilla Orgain overpowering whatever fruit I blended. I was pleasantly surprised with this one. The scent had me nervous – it smells quite sweet – but it does not add sweetness to whatever you’re blending it with. There IS a hint of earthiness which isn’t entirely surprising, and it does add a slight chalkiness as well, but overall it’s tolerable. Some have mentioned it is expensive – I disagree, and actually find it quite comparable and even more on the affordable side compared to other unflavored vegan proteins on the market.

Meal Replacement
I was skeptical about using this product, but using as a meal replacement and adding fruit, almond milk and spinach makes it delicious. My personal training suggested this as I was at a plateau with my weight, and this broke my plateau. I recommend this product without the added sugar or flavoring.

Pretty good flavor compared to others
This is my favorite non flavored protein. I stopped buying Because of how expensive it is for the little you get. There are better more cost effective alternatives. This has a dirt/ earthy flavor to it that I like and it blends pretty good. I think this is a good choice but the price tag is pretty meh and the amount of protein you get from this isn’t as good as other sources like pea protein.

One part of my protein shake
I mix my plant based protein powder with peanut protein powder and chocolate whey protein powder with milk. I like the taste and consistency. Plant based protein by itself has an unpleasing taste and texture.

BEST non-soy protein on the market! I start every day with this in my smoothie!
I’ve been taking 2 scoops for years – I freeze bananas & strawberries so all I need is protein powder and some OJ to make a super breakfast that keeps me working til 4pm!

NO YUCKY POWDER TASTE
I have health issues which make eating solid foods a serious problem for me.My doctor said repeatedly she wants me to try this to help get calories and nutrients I need.I can’t stand most powders or vanilla etc flavors. This one IS the BEST! It doesn’t really have a taste so you don’t really notice it’s in your juice/smoothie.You can go sweet AND savory with it! For example for savory I add peanut butter. It’s a bit pricey BUT you get a HUGE container of it and it will last a while so it totally balances out!I highly recommend it!

Truly Flavorless!
This protein powder is truly flavorless, as long as you blend your smoothie or whatever you’re putting it in for a longer than you usually do. My Nutritionist had me start adding this to my smoothies in order to gain weight. It worked! Now that I’ve gained the weight needed, I’ve cut out the lactose free greek yogurt from the smoothies, and am continuing to add this protein powder in order to maintain the weight I gained. I highly recommend this for anyone like me who needs to gain weight!

The best unsweetened protein powder
The taste is amazing. But after a week I had to reorder . Been trying to get up to 90 grams of protein a day. At 21 grams for 2 scoops it goes fast. Wish it was in a bigger container. So I just ordered 2! We will see how that goes .

Why more expensive with fewer ingredients? But otherwise, love the no sugar aspect
I have been drinking Orgain smoothies for quite a while–I add my collagen powder, fruit, veggies, herbs, yogurt, whatever. I’d been using the one with artificial sweeteners and just do not like the added artificial sweetener so was happy to find this unsweetened unflavored one. That’s the best part: no added sugar. And just as great: no added flavor. I want to add my own flavor, or any sweetness (like a banana) on my own.I used a smoothie maker and it mixed very well but this one has a slight grainy texture. I didn’t mind so much though, as it wasn’t sickenly sweet or some flavor I don’t care for. However, while the artificial sweetened and flavored ones are about $.88 an ounce, this one is about $1.11 an ounce. Why? When less is actually added to the product–not only did they not add flavor, or sweetener, but more annoying is that it has fewer ingredients. I feel a bit cheated in that area. If you are going to add fewer ingredients, then don’t charge me more for it. Not Cool Orgain.Other than that, it’s a good product.

Not even half full
I like the taste of the unflavoured (not meant as a joke, it tastes different compared to other unflavoured…)Container is huge and not even half full. Very disappointing and unnecessary waste of plastic packaging. On an organic product.

Good but I didn’t get exactly what I ordered
I got a slightly different product than what’s described and pictured in my order. This could cause problems for some people. Ive attached pics of the actual product I received.Good taste, not overly sweet and has a nice vanilla flavour. A bit chalky but not the worst one I’ve tried (plus I just used water, probably better with milk alternative).

It’s okay…
Got these bcuz of the convenient packaging. Wanted to maintain decent nutrition while traveling. The texture is good. Vanilla is okay.. would’ve been a bit more than okay, however there seem to be a bit of a salty taste IMHO… not sure why. Overall it was fine for temporary consumption.

Good source of protein.
I tried this protein trying to gain some weight. The taste was OK, but nothing to write home about. I mixed in about half a teaspoon of instant hot cocoa mix and milk, and it improved the taste, kind of like a milk shake. But hey, this is not a flavor drink, it’s a protein drink, and I don’t want a lot of sugar and calories. I never did gain any weight, but it was not advertised to gain weight. It was for 20 servings, and I got about 27 servings. Maybe I didn’t fill the scoop every time. I didn’t see the scoop at first, but digging down I found it in the powder.

Tastes’ like chalk
Tastes like chalk and does not blend well – even in a blender, – leaving chalky sludge at the bottom. It was good as a meal replacement – no hunger. I don’t know why they cannot make a protein drink with just a bit of sugar (not fake sugar) to improve the taste without being too sweet

Healthy ingredients
Orgain Organic Unflavored Vegan protein powder is the only one in the Orgain line of protein powders that doesn’t have stevia. Trying to find something without stevia in it is bothersome these days. I bought this product for adding to green smoothies. It has a lot of healthy ingredients, but the taste isn’t very good. So I bought a different one that has only one ingredient which I don’t like the taste of either, but it’s way cheaper. This product is so expensive. If you’re going to buy pricey protein powder, wouldn’t you expect it to disappear into your smoothie like spinach does and be disguised by the fruit? There’s no way I would mix this with water or milk to drink. Still looking for a protein powder that tastes delish.

Yall this is 3 points on weight watchers. I don’t know exactly what that means but it seems like a lot for a drink and low for a meal replacement? Wish someone could reply.

Cholesterol Free!
I like that is doesn’t have cholesterol as mine is high normally and don’t want to take the drugs to lower it so this is an awesome alternative. I just am not crazy about the unflavored taste so I mix it with another chocolate protein powder and add Cocoa powder to give it more flavor. Once I use this up, I’ll switch to the chocolate flavor which I prefer more.

The best unflavored protein powder
This stuff is AMAZING. I originally bought unflavored to be able to add my own sugar (artificial sweetners suck) and flavors, but the plain unflavored powder mixed into milk is surprisingly amazing! It tastes just like oat milk, and it really brings out the natural sweetness in the milk. The gritty texture is prominent, but it really is no different than when I blend chia/flax seed into my smoothies. There is also no offputting whey aftertaste either, and it’s much gentler on my stomach compared to whey. The added fiber is also a plus in my book. I look forward to having my protein shake everyday now, as simple as two scoops of powder, 4oz of milk and 6 oz of water. Really feels like I’m just having a blended up of oat milk. If I decide to add extras like bananas or fruits, it begins to feel like I’m having a dessert smoothie rather than a protein shake and that makes me so happy.

Great non flavored protein
It took me a while but I finally found an unflavored and vegan protein powder. I was sick of the powders with stevia and other sweeteners. Those sweeteners, while “natural”, never really agreed with my gut. I also wasn’t looking for vegan it’s an added bonus to not fit her upset the stomach. This met all my needs and a few more. As some will tell you it does have a bit of a flavor and a bit of a grit to it. I wouldn’t mix this with just water for sure and instead use it in green and fruit smoothies and sweeten this with truly natural flavors. If you mix it a little extra in your blender or device it helps smooth it out. If you’re looking for a one to one swap from a whey protein to this you will be disappointed, however if you want to issues with sweeteners or just don’t want an artificial flavor, this may be for you

THIS IS NOT UNFLAVORED
I don’t normally write reviews, but I needed to share that this is not unflavored. I know that it’s hard to remove all flavoring, but the pea flavor is too strong to claim unflavored. I wanted to use this to put in my soups and the two scoops changed the flavor so much I thought I was eating split pea soup. Even one scoop in my morning juice drastically changed the flavor. I am struggling to find ways to add this protein to my meals because of the flavor. Also, the grams of protein are a bit low in comparison to other unflavored whey proteins and if the flavor is this strong, it is not worth it especially because there are only 20 servings. I’m sure there is a good place for this protein (probably putting it in split pea soup :D), but I’m still searching for it.

Great Value
We use Orgain powder for all of our shakes, typically in chocolate. We ordered this powder for when we don’t want chocolate. I would say, it does still seem to be a little sweet, maybe have a little vanilla hint. It does NOT taste bad though, just rating it to reflect that it is not actually UNFLAVORED.

Great for blending into foods without impacting flavor much
I mix this powder into many different foods, and it doesn’t overwhelm the flavor of the food. Alone, it has a subtle flavor.

Best protein powder I’ve tried
I don’t like protein powders, even in flavors that I love like caramel or chai. I don’t like the chalky taste and/or texture of them. But since having my second baby 10 months ago I wanted to drink protein shakes post workout. This brand is the best I’ve ever tried. I got the unflavored one and it actually is great. Does have a slight taste and some chalkiness but not offensive at all. I blended with almond milk and banana which did make it very thick, had to add more almond milk, but I was pleasantly surprised how nice it is. Would recommend for people who don’t usually go for strong protein powder tastes.

A Vegan Essential!
As a vegan, finding a protein powder that aligns with my dietary choices and actually tastes good can be a challenge. Orgain Organic Unflavored Vegan Protein Powder has quickly become a staple in my daily routine, and I’m pleased to share why.First and foremost, the taste is genuinely enjoyable. Unflavored protein powders can often be bland or chalky, but not this one. It blends smoothly with my favorite smoothie ingredients, enhancing rather than detracting from the overall flavor. I also appreciate its versatility, as I can mix it with different recipes without any overpowering taste.Beyond the flavor, Orgain Organic Vegan Protein Powder has been highly effective in helping me manage my hunger throughout the day. I find that adding it to my breakfast or post-workout smoothie keeps me satisfied for longer, preventing those midday hunger pangs. It’s a subtle but significant benefit that’s made a real difference in my daily eating habits.Quality-wise, Orgain’s commitment to organic, vegan-friendly ingredients is evident. The packaging is informative, detailing the ingredients and their sourcing, and I feel confident that I’m putting something wholesome into my body.

It’s okay, not bad
I bought this to help curb my appetite before or after the gym. It helps for only a couple hours at least while I can cook a fresh meal without going completely starving. The only bad thing is It definitely has a chalky grittiness to it. Which I hate. I’ve tried all sorts of peanut butter, fruits, whatever to make sure it was the protein powder and it is.

Replacing Shakeology
I used Shakeology for one year a while ago. I loved what it did for my body and health.what I didn’t like was what it did for my pocket, it was just too expensive. I went 3 years without drinking protein shakes, because I didn’t know I could fashion something similar to Shakeology by combining a full amino acid profile protein powder with a superfood powder plus flavors like raw cocoa and matcha. I chose Orgain because of the price, to be honest. My first purchase was the Chocolate flavor and I found two scoops in 8oz of liquid made an extremely sweet shake and I couldn’t drink it. So I asked for a refund (and they didn’t ask me to return the used canister!) and ordered the unflavored powder plus the Orgain Superfood powder. It’s a winner!! I even like the texture better than Shakeology — Shakeology was kinda gooey 😩I vary my smoothies, but my staple recipe is:1 frozen Banana (bananas ripen too fast, so I freeze them in ziplock bags)1/2 cup frozen mixed berries2 tbsp Peanut or nut butter2 scoops Orgain1 scoop Orgain Superfood Powder1 tbsp raw cacao10 oz Almond milkIt’s freaking delicious and filling, plus I noticed less bloating.Absolutely recommended 😊

Great but why all this plastic…
Really enjoy this product which provides a great tasting no-sugar organic protein boost. However, I do not like how much plastic I’m wasting when other similar products are available in biodegradable packaging (in Europe). Obviously we’re recycling but biodegradable is better.Come on Orgain upgrade the packaging especially for subscriptions.

Did not like the taste
I have tried many protein powders and there are others on the market with a far better, creamier taste. I bought these thinking the packets would be good for travel. I also don’t like that it contains erythritol. I should have read the ingredients b4 purchasing.
