They are ok
As incense sticks go, these are not bad as they burn well and do not seem to contain charcoal. However, the frankincense scent is not strong or not accurate. The scent is more of burnt frankincense than frankincense burning. I am sure the other scents and products are good from this brand, but the frankincense scent needs improvement

Great product but samples ruined the smell
I got these because they help boost immune support and help with sleep (you can also get white sage bundles, but this seemed easier/more cost effective). I like the smell, however they put a few samples of two other incense in with the actual box of incense and it messed with the smell of the whole box. We were not a fan of the samples (we ended up throwing them out) and had to air out the incense and wipe them down before each use – because they still smelled like the samples. The incense are great (when they smell like white sage and not the samples). They take about 40-60 minutes to burn. I am not sure if I will buy this brand again because it took some time to get rid of the smell (it was so strong it filled the room and hallway) it also got on our hands and the rest of the incense – we are still wiping them before each use to get rid of it. I wish they had packaged it better or sent the samples in their own box. Minus the samples it was a great product.

Very pleasant scent
I’ve bern buying this brand for several years now. I am sure there may be others, but of the many I’ve burned, this is the only one that doesn’t smell like cheap perfume. The sticks last long – not the hour they claim to last, but long enough. The scents are gentle and burn slow with a mild, almost clear and subtle smoke. My favorite are Sage and Palo Santo, but have tried others and always satisfied. And they dont make a powdery mess like many other brands do. Very good product.

Genuine Frankincense buy NOT LOW SMOKE
Delivery, packaging was good. These are are ok, but I have never seen blacker or thicker smoke from any insense. A little disapointing in that respect but scent is better when finished. I would light a few at a time, and it’s too much without an open window or great outside. Thanks for gifts.

Frankincense is very smoky
I’ve previously purchased the sandalwood and really liked it. After trying a sample of Frankincense I liked the smell enough to order a large amount. First, the aroma while burning smells exactly like frankincense resin and noting else. Unfortunately though it gives off a tremendous amount of smoke. Just way too smoky for me, which is a shame because the smell is spot on. I’ve noticed with this brand that the quality varies quite a bit from order to order.

Good Stuff!
Well I’ve burned a lot of incense over the past few years and I know what I like. This definitely wins the best aroma award for me. I meditate for 30 minutes a day (I’m not one of those crystal people–I do it for my health), and I’ve “smell-tested” numerous brands and scents. I’ve always liked sandalwood the best, but a lot of brands get soggy or crumbly or just don’t have the scent I want. These meet all my expectations. Two thumbs way up!Update 11/25/23:Still enjoying this incense. I have top quality Japanese sandalwood incense for special times but this is still my daily go-to. It burns for almost an hour and while it doesn’t smell strictly like sandalwood, it definitely HAS sandalwood as its base. Will keep ordering.

I love burning incense daily. Most of the brands are made with artificial perfumes and even if they do have real stuff it’s not organic or smells “off”. This has by far the purest scent and I can’t go back to any other brand! Lifelong customer. Waiting for backflow cones next??? 🙂

Seems quality made, but scent is off
I really wanted to like this (sandalwood), because it burns very neat and the price is right, and though not an hour long as it claims, still longer than other incense I tried. But the scent is off, and moreover, I tried the samples of other scents they provided (which was nice of them), and they all smell nearly identical. I’ve tried so many different sticks (mostly from Whole Foods), and very few are good quality.

Hit or Miss
I generally do not review items, but felt these incense sticks deserved such a review. I feel as though this company is very hit or miss in their scent department. I have previously purchased the sandalwood incense and felt it was okay (2-3 stars). However, I found the samples in the package extremely helpful in finding scents I preferred more. The white sage and frankincense were unimpressive. The exotic scent was what blew me away. Great scent, great quality, and very strong. It is my favorite incense to-date. Bought 3 packages if that tells you how great it is. Would wholeheartedly repurchase more.

First of all, the packaging is wonderful. It comes in a sturdy little box which is much easier to store than all the other incense I get which comes in bags or flimsy little boxes.This stuff smells AMAZING. This is probably my second favorite brand of stick incense, my first choice having been sadly discontinued.It came with lovely little sampler packs and the sandalwood is such a great scent. It has a pretty strong fragrance, burns slowly, and is natural without that nasty burning chemical smell a lot of cheaper incense has.Its even got this spicy little kick to the scent profile that I just adore.I will definitely be buying again. I can’t wait to try out the other scents that were included and to order more of the scents I like.

Outstanding Quality
These are extremely similar to the original Satya before they started using chemicals. I will never buy anything else, i am extremely pleased with the Nag Champa scent and the fact that these are all natural. I am a Champa connoisseur of sorts, and know good champa from bad champa. This is the champa you are looking for if you desire the classic Nag Champa smell! Look no further.

Great scent (Sandalwood) but keeps going out
I love the scent of the Sandalwood but I’ve burned 6 sticks now and every single one keeps going out and stops burning after a few minutes. I’ve had to relight the sticks about 5 times each at least to get them to burn entirely.The frankincense samples sent with my order have burned wonderfully with no issues going out. I think it’s the batch I got of the Sandalwood that’s the issue.EDIT: the company reached out to me and informed me the Sandalwood batch I received was not fully dried! They gave me a 100% refund for the order. I can technically just set out the sticks and wait for them to fully dry to use them still. Thank you!

Excellent Customer Service
My sandalwood incense sticks wouldn’t stay lit. I wasn’t sure why this was happening — thought it was from the breeze on my balcony, and so I didn’t give it much thought (and like a dodo I just kept lighting matches hoping that one of them would finally take!) Turns out this particular batch had not been fully dried. I got a postcard from the company telling me of this issue, and they gave me a full refund. How wonderful of them to contact recent customers (even those of us who hadn’t complained) and provide a resolution! That to me is excellent customer service — way above and beyond. I will definitely purchase from them again.

Long burn time
First I want to say, I was going to repurchase today BUT noticed that each box has gone up $4 per box since last month! That’s a shame because I would & have been a regular buyer since I discovered this incense. I like it because each stick last about an hour & low smoke. The scent is mellow & not over powering like a lot of others. It was already more expensive than most of the high quality Masala sticks that I buy but worth it! However, I can’t justify the extra $4 & that’s the reason for only 4 stars?

Simple, elegant, and aromatic!
This is one of my wife and I’s favorite Amazon finds this year. We really love the smell of sandalwood and had been using candles for years before finding this brand. These incense sticks are very simple, last forever, and smell heavenly. They also dont emit a lot of smoke either, you can tell they dont have as much chemical gunk coating them. Since they have less chemicals you need to be patient when you are lighting them; it took me a few days before I got the hang of how they behaved. Also I wouldnt use more than one at a time it will be plenty for a large room. Love love love these and really appreciated the free samples they sent with the sandalwood. Thank you!!!

Smells strongly like sandalwood
This smells like sandalwood, not just something burning. It doesn’t last very long, but the scent lingers in a nice way. I’d prefer this over a longer lasting incense stick that mostly smells like basic and simply overrides other smells by being “smoky.”

This was highly rated and an Amazon favorite, so I figured it was a safe bet. The reviews were great! However, the sandalwood did not smell remotely like any sandalwood I have ever encountered, and the bonus samples were disappointing too. Was it just me? Possibly. Preferences are subjective, after all. Luckily I found something else more to my liking.

I 1st purchased the Sandlewood scent and then purchased a $20 incense holder. I should’ve purchased the variety pack, which comes with a free incense holder. This way, you can sample before you choose a scent you might not like. I’ve found some scents that I would’ve never tried. Who knew Exotic, Myrr and Dragons Blood would be in my top 7 scents… I love these incense because they last a long time in the air and you don’t get that chokey feeling when you 1st lite them. I’ve already ordered more. EXCEPTIONAL PRODUCT!!!

High Quality Sandalwood
I just bought another batch of this Sandalwood incense. I’ve tried a lot of incense over the years, and when I find a good quality stick, I—well, stick with it. The packaging is strong, so stored sticks remain fresh for a long time. We don’t use incense every day, but when we do, this is our scent (and brand) of choice. It’s not cloying or intense. It’s reasonably priced and comes with a sample pack with a few of their other scents to try. I would highly recommend this brand to anyone who wants a high quality incense at a reasonable price.

As close as I’m going to get
A friend visited Monte Sahaja in 2017 and brought back some Sandalwood incense sticks for me. I have been using them very sparingly because they smell amazing. Down to my last 2, I thought I’d try to find something close, knowing that the sticks I love so much are only available in Portugal at the ashram. I would guess that these are as close as I’m going to get. I like that these are natural and not dowsed in chemicals or synthetic perfumes. The scent is not as heavenly, but it’s very nice.

Very ‘clean’ smell & really burns about an hour
Best incense I’ve ever had. Very ‘clean’ scent. Most incense are overpowering & give me a headache, hence the ‘chemicals’ they use. Not these!! And they ‘really’ do burn for about an hour. Timed them. The sandelwood burned an hour & 5 mins. The frankincense burned 55 mins. Was sceptical, hence they’re more expensive, but after reading reviews, I’m very pleased with this purchase. Lives up to what they advertise. Only incense sticks I will be purchasing from now on

Really Nice Incense
I’m not a connoisseur of sandalwood but I like this and it stands up to other brands I have used. The fragrance is subtle and seems to linger a while, but not too long. It is smooth and creamy with a complex fragrance. We enjoy this one a lot!.

良い点▶️粉落ちがほとんどない、モチがよい”パロサントの香り”の悪い点▶️煙っぽい。実際のパロサントを燃やした時の甘い香りがうまく表現されてなくてただ煙っぽい。実際も木を燃やすので煙なんだけど。その中に香る部屋に残る甘い香りの部分が欲しかった。質は良いし他のサンプルは良かったw 安くて沢山入ってるので次は違う香り買います。。

Lovely Fragrance
I bought a box of the the sandalwood fragrance incense. The subtle fragrance is wonderful imho, and the quality of the ingredients are mild and pure: friends who say they are allergic to incense can be around this one without problems. It’s also a slower burn than other joss sticks so you get your money’s worth. Natural Choice incense is my new favorite!

Long Lasting But not the scent I was hoping for
I’ve burned palo santo wood blocks before as well as the pressed palo santo wood dust incense. I was hoping to get something close to that relaxing scent, but this really didn’t come close to those other ones.This incense does have a unique smell, but not close to true palo santo.

I had high hopes for this product after judging reviews and cost.
Im actually sad about this product because I had high hopes for it, considering they’d been open since 1978, used natural products and their production process was so different than most , i.e. no dipping, use bamboo wood, etc., the whole thing just seemed promising to me.Now, I can tell there is pride in their product because it doesn’t seem cheaply made and even the box is made of a nice, sturdy material but the aroma it gave off was quite horrid. I’m not sure if maybe they put the wrong type in the box, because the outside does say lavender but, this literally smells like a forest fire.Funny thing was, after I lit one, my brother came into the room and just straight up asked me what caught fire. A few minutes later my buddy walked in and just started frantically waving his hands saying he wouldn’t even step foot in my room.Later on I gave one to my mom to get her opinion and when I care back a few minutes later to ask her, I found it faced down in her plant, extinguished (that’s what my pic is of. Lol I thought that was funny).I’m sending it back because $17 for a product I’m never using again is just a waste in my mind. So, I’m hoping to take advantage of their money back guarantee. I only took out two.Actually, they even inserted and extra envelope with about 6 different additional sent samples but I’m not even going to open that. I’ll return it with the rest of the bunch to better ensure getting my money back. I wasn’t trying to play them. I REALLY wanted it to smell nice. I would’ve even gone for “decent”… passable.I will say, AFTER it completely died out and a while passed (half hour), there was a SLIGHT lingering floral sent in the air; minuscule. That’s the reason I won’t give just one star… that and the packaging/obvious pride in their product. Again, maybe I just got a faulty pack but, I’m not willing to gamble it again.

Natural choice the meaning is fading away. Exaggeration is not enough to describe the quality. What I received the packet of “ Exotic “ incense was nothing but the synthetic aroma. Behalf of six decades of burning incense and meditation practice I know the difference between “ Brass and the gold “. In the past I had a very good quality of incense. I hope this time is just a glitch. I request Amazon to scrutinize and focus on standard of quality because Amazon name is involved. I request to Natural choice, “ when you want to walk fast, walk alone. But when you want to walk far than walk together.” So be with the customer for longer success and maintain the quality you claim.

I have loved sandalwood incense for many years now; it’s my favorite! I used to have to wait until I made another trip to SE Asia to restock on this prized scent. This brand offers an easily accessible alternative to buying in person overseas. The quality is great and it actually burns the one hour it claims on the packaging! The scent is just as good as the Indian made brands I used to get in Asia. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed with the quality and price. Enjoy!

The smell is delicious
These are the best incenses I have ever purchased. The smell is so good. They burn clean. They last a long time because they do not burn quickly. In each box they give samples of the other scents. I highly recommend them.

Exotic…wonderful smell with much less smoke
I’ve been a big fan of Satya, but always not happy about a lot of smoke. My teen son always tells me having so many smoke is bad for my health and should stop… (But I really love Satya Nag Champa smell. It’s very addictive.)So bought this since it says ‘less smoke’. And surprised how less smoke it is, yet does has solid smell. I thought it’s stopped burning, but I can see very thin smoke keeps coming out, with strong aroma.Now they are my new favourite! I chose Exotic since I wanted to try something different and more floral smell. And I quite like it. The package comes with all other fragrance samples (6 type x 2 stick each, and each sealed individually to avoid fragrance transfer), too. Such a great value…!! Not sure whether their Nag Champa would be as good as Satya, but I have 2 sticks to try. So excited!Update. I tried all sample. And Unfortunately I didn’t like any of them. Only Exotic was outstanding. Frankincense smell the worst. All our family couldn’t stand. I buy only Exotic from this brand from now on.

Was a bit sceptical at first, but the description is accurate, the smell is amazing, and because there are no chemicals, the sticks are safe to burn with my parrots around. Arrived quickly. Added test sticks were very appreciated. My first stop for my sticks in future. Definately recommend
