POEM TWO – Isha Upanishad – The Essence of Upanishads

POEM TWO – Isha Upanishad – The Essence of Upanishads

Isha Upanishad

Poem two on Isha Upanishad. I decided to explore the ten Principle Upanishads and extract the essence from them. Given that the Upanishads are themselves an extraction of the extraction of the essence of all knowledge combined…

In all that exists, the Divine does shine,
Eternal essence, ineffable and fine.
Immutable, pervasive, beyond compare,
Divine light, the truth so rare.

In darkness or light, it’s always near,
Guiding us on a path so clear.
Renouncing greed, embracing grace,
Finding truth in every place.

In stillness, in action, in all we do,
The Divine presence, eternal and true.

This poem encapsulates the central teachings of the Isha Upanishad, which emphasize the eternal essence of the Divine that pervades all of creation, and the importance of renouncing attachment and embracing spiritual wisdom to find truth and meaning in life.

*Please note that poetry is a creative expression, and this poem is a concise summary, not a literal translation of the Upanishad. For a comprehensive understanding, it’s recommended to refer to authoritative translations by qualified scholars or spiritual teachers.
