Cute and Functional
I love the size and tote bag, making it easy to keep up with during commute. The negatives are the lid (makes a lot of noise when opening/closing, and easy to lose if you set it down), and of course the basics of copper (taste and discoloring) but it comes with instructions for cleaning and removing the stains as well as helping reduce the copper taste. I like to drink from it once a day for nutritional benefits. Love the design and bag.

Solid water bottle. Crafted with care. I don’t leave water in it over night. I let it dry upside down daily. Only been a week so far and everything is fine. I appreciate the care instructions it came with.

Strange substance on lid
Strange substance on the lid. Mostly on threads but there’s a drop on underside too. Hard consistency but also able to chip away. Hopefully it’s just a food safe silicone glue they use to make the lid tight, but it’s making contact with the water and chipping away into the water.

So the benefit of drinking water from a copper vessel is well documented. Therefore, I purchased this item. Here is what I learned. I don’t like drinking from the bottle itself, but pouring the water into a class container is delicious. Give it a try!

Lid sucks – update: add veg. oil to rim to fix this
Nice looking bottle but the lid sucks. It’s hard to twist both on and off and does not seal (leaky). Copper is also a conductor so the bottle has poor insulation and doesn’t stay cold long. Mid overall

one thing about this is THE TASTE. it definitely changes the taste of the water so if you aren’t used to it don’t be alarmed. also the bottle inside does tarnish a bit don’t be surprised as well. i felt like drinking it everyday all day was too much so i cut back. but do recommend for health wise.

Great product, it wasn’t until the “epidemic” that I learned copper, as well as other metals such as silver, kills viruses on contact. Not only that but copper actually makes water more alkaline. If I’d have paid more attention in school I would have learned that the ancient Egyptians knew this centuries ago! LOL. Great product that give me a little bit more piece of mind.

Love this tumbler
As we are lacking in copper in our diets I sought this out. After drinking water from this daily for a few weeks I drank water from a cup on vacation and could REALLY tell the difference. The taste is much better. And it never becomes dirty inside like my other tumblers after using for 24 hours. My husband notices the difference as well and I didn’t say a word.

This is a beautiful water bottle
This is truly a beautiful water bottle. Seriously I purchased because it was pretty and given there were so many choices, the final decision came to the fact I had a carry bag with it which is very useful. I did not know of the benefits of drinking from a copper vessel until I read about it. I was just in awe of how pretty this was. The lid works perfectly plus I purchased the large size because I wanted water for a whole day. This vessel checks all the boxes for me. I really like it!

Educate yourself, clean frequently.
There are a lot of people claiming this is not real copper, due to “rust” but I assure you it’s because they are NOT cleaning the bottle every 2-3 days with Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice, Sea Salt, and White vinegar. I can ASSURE you this is genuine copper. Just be consistent about cleaning and you will have no corrosive issues.

I am happy with this purchase.
I bought three of these at a little bit better of a price than most I saw for sale on Amazon. They were packaged well, but there are a few dings in the metal on 2 of the bottles, which isnt awesome. Hopefully it doesnt make too much of a difference in the end.I will want to use my bottle for awhile before I can give a fair review – but I am happy with quick delivery and purchase overall.

I love that it comes with the bottle.The water tasted pure and clear the first couple days. I liked that there was NO metallic taste but it has developed a different kind of aftertaste after a couple days. I’m going to clean out thoroughly and from now on, try to avoid leaving water in it and see if it goes away.I like that the rim doesn’t collect mold because it’s 100% copper but it does make an uncomfortable squeaking noise sometimes.Pending on the aftertaste going away, I would give this bottle 5 stars!

Basic
A nice basic container but it’s hard to make sure the inside and lid are clean. Be diligent with cleaning this copper. The screw cap grinded in a way that irritated me and eventually it was ruined when my roommate put it through the dishwasher.

Best way to alkalize water

I absolutely love my copper water bottle and the canvas shoulder bag it came with. All of these reviews I’m reading where people are trying to show the defects aren’t showing anything but tarnish that needs to be cleaned and it’s very common, not defective. I love it and plan to use it forever! It keeps water colder for longer and gives it a subtle, yet delicate taste and I’ve tried wafer from several different places in it. Love!!

There is absolutely nothing to dislike from this product. It is everything it advertises to be. It is far superior than any plastic and there is benefits to drinking from copper. I would strongly recommend this to anyone.

Slight leak at seal, too small for abdays worth, pure copper.
The size is a little too small and it has started leaking after 1 week of use. It is copper in and out without any longer or coverings. It seems like a good piece and would be a great piece if not for this. Inspecting the seal and clearing any debris seems to cure that leak. It’s s good piece, i do wish it was a little larger. I like it very much regardless.

Nice bottle, lid gets stuck easily tho
Love the bottle and the cute canvas bag it comes with! However, the lid has some discoloration in the strides and gets stuck on very very tight. Perhaps a different lid is needed, it doesn’t seem to seal properly.

For people who don’t read the care instructions
If you are getting black or green in your water bottle you need to read these care instructions. It is natural for this to happen with real copper. If you read your care instructions you will know how to clean it correctly. Besides addressing those bad reviews, I love my copper bottle, it came as described, and it’s a decent size. Packaging is good and no damage.

Delicious water
We were using stainless steel water bottles with filtered water, but started to experience a seriously chlorine-y taste from them even after cleaning. We made the switch to this copper bottle and immediately the taste was SO much better. The water chills in the bottle and the taste gets even better overnight.We definitely recommend this product to anyone who loves to drink water and wants an even better experience.

The seller is very responsive.
The first one I received was cross threaded or something. It was very hard to get the lid on and off. It made it so I didn’t even want to use the bottle. I contacted the seller, they were very responsive, and they sent me out a new bottle that day. I would recommend this bottle and the seller to everyone.I really like the flavor of the water. I’m trying to increase my copper intake naturally. I hope this bottle helps. At any rate, it’s a very nice bottle, it keeps fluids cool, and it is beautiful.

I like it but it makes an AWFUL sound when screwing the cap on and off
Overall, this is a great water bottle. However, taking the lid on and off results in the most horrendous, grating noise. I wish there was a way to prevent this. I’m honestly thinking of ditching it just because of how bad the sound is lol

Sticky white paper wrap residue on my bottle.
I ordered two of these water bottles. One of the water bottles’ white wrapping papers stuck to the bottle leaving a sticky residue that would not come off and it is sticky to hold. After contacting this company, and they were very kind and courteous by the way, they promptly made it right by sending me another bottle.I love the bottles.

Great bottle. Please learn how to clean it
Dont be silly like many other people here who see black on the inside. When I first got the bottle, I opened the cap, and the moisture-absorbing pack had leaked black stuff out. So what, rinse it out with salt and vinegar.Every 2-3 days you need to clean this bottle out with about 2-3 tbsp of vinegar and 1-2 tbsp of salt and shake vigorously. Copper WILL tarnish. Even the inside. So clean it out regularly and you will be fine. If this is too much for you, get a stainless steel bottle if regularly cleaning your bottle is too much of a hassle.This bottle is great. I drink so much more often now.

It is not plated, it’s all copper! 🙂
When I first got this, it developed a few marks that looked and felt like chip marks on the finish of the bottle lid. I didn’t think it was tarnish because it was a different texture and really seemed like the copper flaked off. HOWEVER, after washing with white vinegar and salt, (must use both) the chipped spot vanished! It was never chipped at all, just some oxidation. Easily resolved. Now I clean with salt and vinegar regularly and it stays pretty. The only down side is the screw top isn’t as smooth to open as my stainless steel bottles and it makes a loud screeching noise. I don’t know if it’s due to the copper being a softer metal or the design itself, but it would be better if the lid was easier and quieter to put on and off.

Real Copper Water Bottle
I enjoyed taking this water bottle hiking this last weekend. The canvas bag was so helpful too. I’ve learned NOT to put electrolytes in a Copper Water Bottle. It will change the flavor and it’s nasty, but that told me I got the real deal. So I just use it for plain water, which makes more sense now and the water tastes great. I use my hydration pack for my electrolytes. I’m looking forward to bringing it everywhere I go. You need to properly clean copper if you’re going for anything copper.

Kitchen Science Copper Water Bottle
I know this has a Lifetime Warranty so I’m contemplating sending it back – because on opening, I found a huge dent in the bottle. This can only mean it was dented beforehand, since the box it is presented in is perfect!It’s a nice looking bottle – at the moment – only used it twice so not sure what it will look like after more usage. Copper is soft, so it may dent some more, therefore, may not be worth the effort of returning – we’ll see! Need more time on this one …

Awesome bottle
Beautiful bottle but opening and closing it is like running fingernails on a chalkboard. Lol. My family cringes when I use it. If anyone has a way to prevent this sound I am all ears.Edit: I put a little coconut oil on the screw in top and that did the trick. Turned the bottle into the best one I ever had and I am the type that never goes anywhere without my water bottle with my filtered rain water. The copper prevents the bottle from ever getting that awful water bottle bottle smell, too. I’m gonna buy more as gifts!

I drink Water All the Time
Ordered this product wanting to drink water out of something different than my Yeti all the time. I always have my hands full and tended to spill some water or going to sporting events it is hard to keep them upright all the time with all the kids around. So far it has been great. I even had a problem where I couldn’t get the lid off because I screwed it on wrong. They are sending me another one and I am sending mine back without any problems. Cleaning it is not that bad either.
